Alfred’s eyelids fluttered open as bright sunlight flooded his vision, causing him to moan slightly. He still couldn’t blow his nose, but the headache was gone for now. Apparently those pills helped him in the end. He didn’t know if his fever was still there or not, but he felt much better. He rolled off the couch and struggled to his feet, his muscles sore and stiff.
