Women’s Cricket Team – The Singapore Cricket Association made history in Singapore by organizing the inaugural ICC T20 international cricket series between the Singapore Women’s National Team and the Myanmar Women’s National Team.
The Singapore Cricket Association (the governing body of cricket in Singapore) invited the Myanmar Cricket Federation to hold three ICC international cricket matches in Singapore.

Myanmar won two of the three matches, with the third and final game called off due to heavy rain.

Myanmar won the toss and was elected first. The Singapore women’s football team set a target of 60 runs in 20 rounds but conceded nine wickets. Myanmar got the job done, taking 61 in 7.3 overs without conceding a single wicket.
Singapore won the game and Myanmar won. Myanmar set a target of 135 runs in 20 rounds but conceded seven wickets. The Singapore women’s team got off to a good start but due to a quick wicket drop and few runs, they managed just 86 runs in 20 rounds, conceding nine wickets.
The Singapore women’s team has made some adjustments to the team and is confident of winning the last and final match. However, the match was called off due to heavy rain and Myanmar won 2-0.
The Singapore Cricket Association is committed to developing this wonderful game in Singapore and puts a lot of effort into it. In Southeast Asia, they were the first to install floodlights to play cricket at night so that Singaporeans could come and learn cricket after school or work etc. Guided by experienced and high-level international coaches. As the Indian women’s cricket team struggled with dew due to South African squad and injury problems, they overlooked their World Cup semi-final berth ahead.
Explained: India’s Women Cricketers To Receive Same Match Fee As Men
Sometimes applauding a failed combat performance is dangerous because it masks many of its flaws. The battles shown are the essence of must-win games. Harmanpreet Kaur articulates that struggle, that longing, that last-ditch effort. As the Indian women’s cricket team struggled with dew due to South African squad and injury problems, they overlooked their World Cup semi-final berth ahead.
When the Protea Fire teamed up with Mignon du Preez and Sune Luus at the Hagley Oval, the required run rate hovered around seven and all they needed was a run on every ball. Mithali Raj turned the ball into two right-handers with three spins, placing them all deep in the legside.
Since the early 1940s, India has been giving away singles and doubles in the same way that educational institutions give out candy at Independence Day celebrations. South African batsmen barely felt the pressure of the scoreboard during that period, resulting in over 30 runs in the area.
The captain’s identity is unclear. Never was. Always worried about not doing enough. But in Mitalie’s situation, she had to decide if she needed protection behind or in front of her legs. She can opt for square legs in the back or short, rounded mid-legs. She also wants those SUVs, which unfortunately plays into Chase Fang’s favor.
Fight Won’t Mask The Many Failings Of Indian Women At World Cup 2022
But India’s actions cannot be limited to the final stage. It’s a tournament where they have a staged championship structure but look average as a unit at other times.
Shefali Verma had two ducks at the start but Smriti Mandana got away with her languid grace. Even after winning their first few matches, India’s shaky top spot was magnified against the hosts when they lost their third game to New Zealand. Mandana and Kaur put in a lot of energy in the West Indies game, helping India to a huge first innings success. In this game, the top position slipped again, this time against England, they suffered their second defeat of the tournament.
Perhaps the loss to Australia was the most troubling for them. With both openers down, Justika Bhatia and Raj needed to rebuild them, which they did, but with a high strike rate. Kaul’s blitz culminated in a competitive overall finish, but it wasn’t enough for Australia, who always give their all for the World Cup.
The only game in which three of India’s top five batsmen scored more than a 100 percent hit was against the West Indies. It was also the only time they had more than 300 posts. In all other games, Raj and everyone else except Verma and Kaul hit the ball slowly. After Jemima Rodriguez was replaced from the wing, there was a serious vacuum in the team’s fast attack. Unfortunately, this empty space remained throughout the expedition.

Captain Raj loses a game against the White Ferns. Then they were mistakenly added to that game. Clearly, defense is India’s weakest link in this World Cup. Against South Africa, it was a situation that plagued them again and they couldn’t afford to be sloppy. Breaks and missed catches dented their chances, with Protea winning the match in the final game.
For someone as world-class in skill as Verma, she comes from an organization where defense has been on the back burner for years. Not only Verma, there are hundreds of girls playing cricket in the remotest parts of India who are only taught how to bat and bowl. Modern cricket values defense more than any other skill, and it is high time grassroots coaches and mentors pay serious attention to this.
