“I didn’t sleep much last night, I was a little nervous, and I was worried about how the auction was going to go,” Curran said.

Punjab Kings came in late but had the last laugh beating Chennai Super Kings, Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians to finally sign Sam Curran for Rs 18.5 crore. Six of the 10 clubs in the IPL 2023 Auction have shown interest in the England striker.
