The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the schedule for the 16th edition of the T20 series on Friday (February 17). The tournament will begin on 31 March 2023 with a match between defending champions Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings. Meanwhile, the summit will take place on May 28.

“The 16th season of the marquee event will begin on March 31, 2023 with an epic clash between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium, the largest cricket stadium in Ahmedabad,” the BCCI said in a statement.
