Captain Nitish Rana’s half-century and Andre Russell’s mighty contribution of 42 off 23 balls helped KKR chase Rinku’s average of 180 with 21 off 10 balls in the final overs. Earlier, PBKS opted to bat first and scored 179 for seven on a slow surface, with Shikhar Dhawan scoring another half-century with an innings of 57 runs off 47 balls. KKR’s mystery spinner Varun Chakraborty took three wickets for just 26 runs in his quota of four overs. With this win, KKR moved up to the fifth position in the points table.

He took 2 wickets conceding just 23 runs in his 4 overs.

Chennai Super Kings team won by 77 runs against Delhi Capitals. Batting first, Chennai Super Kings beat Delhi Bowlers at the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium. With an excellent opening partnership from Ruturaj Gaikwad (79) and Devon Conway (87), Chennai gained momentum to post a huge total. Later, Shivam Dubey (22) and Ravindra Jadeja (20) ended the innings with a bang. Chasing 224 runs, Delhi’s batting failed again.
