Ipl Schedule 2023 Match Dates and Fixtures, Team List, First Match
At the moment, BCCI has published only the schedule of group stage matches. The IPL 2023 group stage matches will start on 31st March 2023 and will end on 21st May 2023. As we have seen in previous years, Qualifier 1 will be played on 23rd May and Eliminator on 24th May. Qualifier 2 will take place on May 26 and the Grand Final on May 28, Sunday.
The entire tournament is planned in such a way that 70 group matches are played in 52 days. While the playoffs will take a total of 7 days including rest days. Royal Challengers Bangalore are one of the favorites to win the IPL 2023 at 1.5 odds, according to leading cricket site Betway.
Meanwhile, a total of 18 double headers have been set for IPL 2023, including two weekday double headers and 16 weekend double headers. The afternoon doubleheaders begin at 3:30 p.m. While the evening games start at 7:30 p.m., despite the double header.
A total of 10 teams will play 70 group stage matches, followed by 4 playoff matches. Each team will play a total of 14 group stage matches. However, not every team will play twice against the other 9 teams. So, as in 2022, the 10 teams are divided into two groups of 5 each.
Chennai Super Kings Schedule Time Table And Players List
In the groups, Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Lucknow Super Giants, Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals are in Group A. While Chennai Super Kings, Gujarat Titans, Punjab Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad are in Group AB.
According to the group division, the respective teams from each group play each other twice; so a total of 8 intra-group matches per team. Also, MI and CSK, KKR and SRH, RR and RCB, DC and PBKS & LSG and GT will play each other twice. Rest, the members of Group A will face the remaining four teams of Group B once, and vice versa.
IPL 2023 will see the return of home and away matches unlike the last three years which had a different format. With the home and away format, each team will play 7 home matches and 7 away matches at designated venues. So Chennai will play 7 matches at their home ground in Chennai.

In terms of venues, 12 venues will be decided for IPL 2023. So, apart from the 10 home venues for the respective teams, Guwahati and Dharamsala have been added as additional two venues. Jaipur and Mohali have to play 5 matches. While the remaining two matches are scheduled in Guwahati and Dharamsala respectively.
Ipl 2023 Schedule Out! Here’s All You Need To Know About Dates, Squads, Venue, Opening Match
Recall the IPL 2022 results, Gujarat Titans emerged as the winners of IPL 2022 and Rajasthan Royals came second. Royal Challengers Bangalore finished third and Lucknow Super Giants finished fourth. At the same time, the most successful teams of CSK and MI finished in 9th and 10th places, respectively.
At the end of December, a mini-auction was held for IPL 2023. With the addition of new players to the squads, no team will start as the favorite in IPL 2023. So, we should see an equal match between all the 10 teams. It’s also the first time since 2019 that we’ll see the return of the Home and Away format. As a result, the excitement is even greater.

Ipl Fixture 2023
As in the last season, the teams are divided into two groups. Group A has Mumbai, Knight Riders, Royals, Capitals and Super Giants while Group B has Super Kings, Royal Challengers, Titans, Kings and Sunrisers. But unlike last season, each team plays twice against the five teams from the other group and the remaining four from their group once, so that’s 14 league games per team. The competitive phase consists of 70 matches over 52 days from March 31 to May 21, spanning 12 cities and including 18 doubleheaders. Apart from the ten usual venues – Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Mohali – some matches will be played in Guwahati (Royals’ second home) and Dharamsala (Kings’ second home). Royals will play their first two home matches in Guwahati and the remaining five in Jaipur. Kings, on the other hand, will play their first five home matches in Mohali and their last two home matches in Dharamsala. Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings in 1000th game of IPL
