
International Cricket Schedule – The next round of the Future Tour Program (FTP) will see 12 full members of the ICC play international cricket in each of the three formats. FTP presents the international cricket calendar including ICC events and bilateral international series.
The 12 members will play 777 international matches – 173 Tests, 281 ODIs and 323 T20Is – compared to the current 694 in the 2023-2027 FTP cycle.

ICC Cricket GM Wasim Khan said: “I would like to thank our members for the efforts that have gone into creating this FTP over the next four years. We are incredibly fortunate to have three formats of the game, an outstanding program of ICC world events and strong bilateral and domestic cricket, and this FTPT is designed to allow all cricket to flourish.”
Another big highlight of the FTP is the two sets of the five-match Border-Gavaskar Test series in each of the upcoming rounds of the ICC World Test Championship.
The most intense clash in recent times, Australia will host India for a five-match series in the 2023-25 cycle of the WTC with the return tour being played in 2025-2027.
The teams will meet each other in a five-match Test series for the first time in 30 years, the last time being in 1992.

Like the current WTC cycle, the Ashes and the England-India Test series, will be contested in five matches during the upcoming FTP.
England, Australia and India will play more Test matches during the cycle, as they will play 21, 19 and 19 day matches respectively.
The upcoming FTP cycle also includes five major ICC events, starting with next year’s Cricket World Cup in India.
International Cricket Schedule
The West Indies and USA will host the T20 World Cup in 2024, followed by the Champions Trophy returning to Pakistan in 2025.
India and Sri Lanka will jointly host the T20 World Cup in 2026 and the FTP cycle will be completed in 2027 with Cricket World Cups in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia.
White-ball bilateral and tri-series series will have more value as they will count towards the respective team’s ranking, which will help determine which teams qualify for ICC events.

Following the confirmation of the 10 teams that will play in the event to be held in Zimbabwe from 18 June – 9 July 2023, the schedule for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifiers has been released.
Each match will be at a high level, with the teams fighting for two spots in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 in India ensuring nine games in their global ODI cricket tournament.
