The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday officially announced the squads for the 2022 tour of Bangladesh for the Test and ODI series. Unlike the New Zealand tour, where several senior players will be rested, the Bangladesh series will see Team India at near full strength.

The Bangladesh tour, which starts immediately after the New Zealand tour, will see Rohit Sharma captain both the ODI and Test sides. As expected, KL Rahul will be his replacement, taking over from Shikhar Dhawan.
Team India will play 3 ODI series and 2 Test series from 4th December. While the ODI series will be played from 4 December to 10 December, the Test series will be played from 14 December to 26 December.
Only Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur and Deepak Chahar have been repeated in the ODI squad compared to the ODI squad selected for New Zealand. The remaining 11 players are new.

On 14 October, the Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the replacement of Jasprit Bumrah, who was recently ruled out of the T20 World Cup 2022 due to a back injury. Fast bowler Mohammad Shami, previously named in the reserves, has officially replaced Jasprit Bumrah in the final on the 15th.
Apart from the inclusion of Mohammad Shami in the final 15, there have also been some changes to the reserves. Mohammad Siraj has been included in the reserves in place of Mohammad Shami. Shardul Thakur has been included in the reserves in place of the injured Deepak Chahar.
