Nicknamed the Rawalpindi Express, Shoaib Akhtar clocked the fastest cricket – 161.3 km/h (100.2 mph) – in a One Day International (ODI) match against England during the 2003 Cricket World Cup in Cape Town, South Africa.
Bowling in the second match against England batsman Nick Knight, Akhtar tormented the southpaw with speeds of 153.3 km/h, 158.4km/h, 158.5km/h, 157.4km/h, 159.5km/h and 161.3km/h and 161.3km/h. h/h as he finished the girl.
