Dubai Cricket Stadium – Dubai Sports City relied on broadcast solutions specialist Gravity Media, then branded as Gearhouse Broadcast, to design, supply and install a high performance integrated broadcast system for its new state-of-the-art cricket stadium.
Designed in collaboration with the International Cricket Council (ICC) – now based in Dubai – the stadium is DSC’s flagship stadium and is known as one of the most technologically advanced of its kind in the world.

Gravity Media’s specialist system integrators ensure that the installation design covers every area of the club, including the pitch area, commentator’s room, standing area and press room.

The high-tech transmission network includes a total of 37 wall boxes, along with 33 triax camera positions, 27 fiber camera positions, 53 video link lines, 92 data link lines, and 136 audio link lines, all using Belden cables or Draka.
The wall box has been prepared with triax camera positions and HD fiber camera positions to cater for high definition production.
To complete the installation, Gravity Media provided a team of five Riggers, three Wiremen, a Project Engineer and a Project Manager, as well as using local labor.
The installation of the HD broadcast cable and control room at the Dubai International Stadium, known at the time as the Dubai Sports City Stadium, was completed by Gravity Media’s expert team on time and within budget.
