The 31-year-old remains within just 10 rankings of Labusagne and could close the gap further when the second Test between England and New Zealand takes place in Nottingham on June 10.

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam jumped one place to fourth, while New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson – who scored just two and 15 at Lord’s – dropped two places to fifth.
There have also been some changes in the latest Test bowler rankings, with New Zealand pacer Kyle Jamieson the biggest mover behind his six wickets for the match against England.
India Loses Top Test Spot Within Hours Owing To ICC’s Website Glitch
Jamieson has moved up two places to claim third place, one place behind India speedster Jasprit Bumrah (fourth) and Pakistan speedster Shaheen Shah Afridi (fifth).
Australian captain Pat Cummins remains the top-ranked bowler with a ranking of 901, 51 points ahead of veteran India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin on 850 points.
Allwin is second in the all-rounder rankings behind teammate Ravindra Jadeja.
