Mushfiqur Rahim was the architect of the victories in the first two matches with scores of 84 and 125. Sri Lanka were defeated in the first and second ODIs by 33 and 103 runs respectively. They tasted defeat by 97 runs in the ODI final, their only home defeat so far in the CWCSL.
The Bangladeshi giants showed no signs of stopping when they traveled to Zimbabwe for the three-match series. Liton Das’s century and Shakib Al Hasan’s whistle helped them register a dominant 155-run victory.

Bangladesh have three remaining CWCSL series after the conclusion of the current series against Afghanistan where they are scheduled to face South Africa (away), Ireland (away) and England (home). With 10 wins out of 14, they have secured a strong position for automatic qualification to the 2023 World Cup.
