Earlier, PBKS opted to bat first and scored 179 for seven on a slow surface with Shikhar Dhawan scoring another innings fifty of 57 off 47 balls. KKR’s ystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy picked up three wickets and conceded just 26 runs in his quota of four overs. With this win, KKR climbed up to fifth place in the points table.
KKR moved up to fifth in the table with 10 points after their last-ball win against PBKS. This result makes the playoff race interesting as the five vacant members currently share the same number of points (10).
Gujarat Titans (GT) are at the top of the points table with 16 points, while Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are in second place, three points behind GT. Third placed tea Lucknow Super Giants have a point lead (11) over other teas in the table.

KKR’s Rinku Singh climbed to the 10th spot on the ost run scorers’ list with 337 runs, while PBKS captain Shikhar Dhawan is at the ninth spot with 349 runs. There were no other changes to the list.
The Orange Cap, which goes to the tournament’s top scorer, is currently held by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Faf du Plessis, who has amassed 511 runs in 10 matches. Rajasthan Royals young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal is second with 477 runs at a strike rate of 160.60.
After his impressive 3/26 against PBKS on the day, KKR’s Varun Chakravarthy moved up to the fifth spot on the list of 8 wickets taken this season with 17 wickets in 11 matches. meanwhile, Gujarat Titans (GT) pacer ohaed Shai currently holds the Purple Cap and is taking 17 wickets this season.
All-rounder Rashid Khan and CSK paceman Tushar Deshpande also have 17 wickets each, but their economy rates are higher than Shai’s.
