Mitchell Marsh Ipl 2023 – Delhi Capitals (DC) all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has asked the young Indian batsmen to focus on the ball and not bowl with top quality international bowling. Marsh also added that batsmen need to watch the ball carefully and act accordingly. However, 60 young arms have come under the scanner in the prolific IPL 2013. In the opener, Prithvi Shaw has scored 15 runs in five games and has been dismissed twice without scoring.

“I think it is very important for young players to play with the ball and not with the balls. When someone bowls 140 or 150, eventually you have to look and act accordingly. Facing the fast bowlers of the world is a powerful experience for all youngsters. “Guys like Yash Dhull have a great future, he he is a great kid, he loves to learn and the kind of culture we have in Delhi, everyone wants. Learning and getting better, but unfortunately the results are not visible now.”

However, Dhull played in two matches in the ongoing IPL where he was dismissed for two and one respectively.
Talking about Delhi’s need in IPL 2023, Marsh added that the batsmen need to perform better. He said the lack of partnership and the batsmen not being able to score big runs hurt them in the games. Interestingly, he is struggling.
“There is no doubt that you would like to fight better. In all five of our matches, we could not get off to a reasonable start or lose wickets in the group. We need to build teams and we need players to score big points, we can’t do that. If we can do that, turn it around we can. I couldn’t execute my plans. But I know my process works and so it’s about sticking to your process and having a good intention,” concluded Mitchell Marsh.

Marsh has been in sensational form of late and proved his attack in the recently concluded 3-match ODI series against Australia.
