In fact, mahadevbook.com reaches out to punters through its Facebook page, Instagram and bookie-friendly Telegram group. 4 of the defendants were arrested, 3 of them escaped. The Task Force has placed bets of INR 8,65,000 on mobile phones, laptops, debit cards of various banks, registers of bookmakers’ betting accounts, etc. managed to get hold of it.

Mahadevbook.com has offered bets on different online and offline games including Teen Patti, Cricket, Online Casino Games, Hockey, Football, Tennis, Boxing and more. This illegal betting group had over 500 bookies betting on various games.
These illegal betting sites were organized by Tahahuddin, Azam Khan, Khaja Asim Ahmed and Mohd Shazayb. The owners of Mahadev Book were managing the online betting racket at a residence in Hyderabad. Other illegal betting sites –
MahadevBook gang members were giving User IDs and passwords to those who wanted to play online. IDs were only available 24 hours and the mahadevbook.com gang was making huge amounts of illegal money from commissions. The Northern Territory Task Force raided their home in Langar House in Hyderabad and managed to arrest four of the gang members. The task force also received about INR 8.65 lakh from their residence.
They also operated and managed multiple Telegram, WhatsApp and Instagram accounts to reach bookies. After being detained, the owners of MahadevBook or King Exchange admitted to illegally engaging in online betting. His transactions on these illegal betting sites were managed from multiple bank accounts. Any of their customers who want to play will have to pay for 24/7 online identity services. In case the player wins, the winning amount is sent to his account via the online mode. This is how they used illegitimate online betting sites to make illegal money.
