Ipl 2020 Cricket – Tata Motors on Monday said that the premium hatchback Altroz will become the official partner for the upcoming T20 cricket, Dream11 Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020.
The Altrozfollows in the footsteps of its peers Nexon and Harrier, both official partners of the rally, for the 2018 and 2019 seasons respectively, Tata Motors said in a statement.

Commenting on the development, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicle Business Unit (PVBU) Marketing Director Vivek Srivatsa said, “The festival has started well for us and the IPL is nothing less than a celebration for cricket fans across the country. We are very happy. to be back for the third consecutive year with the IPL…”

The company has elaborate plans to capture the attention of the viewer who will support their favorite teams virtually, on air and through digital platforms, Srivatsa added.

IPL President Brijesh Patel said, “Tata Motors have been official partners since 2018 and our relationship with them continues to grow. New Delhi: The IPL governing body on Sunday announced the schedule of the much-awaited Dream11 Indian Premier League 2020 to be held in the United Arab Emirates. The season will begin on September 19 in Abu Dhabi with a blockbuster clash between champions Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings, BCCI chief Jay Shah announced.
After opening the tournament on Saturday, Dubai will host its first match on Sunday (September 20) when Delhi Capitals take on Kings XI Punjab, followed by the third match on Monday (September 21) between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers bangalore.
The IPL action will move to Sharjah on Tuesday, September 22, as Rajasthan Royals take on Chennai Super Kings.
Shifted from India due to rising cases of COVID-19, the next edition of the world’s biggest T20 league will be held at the three venues of Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates.

Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and the rest of the CSK players, barring the COVID-19 hit duo of Deepak Chahar and Ruturaj Gaikwad, began training on Friday.
With Deepak and Ruturaj testing positive last week along with 11 members of the CSK squad, the team was forced to delay its training schedule after completing a six-day quarantine, including three tests, on August 21.
The virus-free players had to undergo three additional tests before training on Friday. Infected players are quarantined for 14 days.
