Oiling and tapping your cricket bat is an essential part of its preparation. This ensures you get the best performance and life out of your new bat. Even if you bought a “pre-knock in” pad, tapping is still required.

We apply 2 to 3 layers of raw flaxseed oil evenly on the face, edges and back of the bat, with 2 to 3 tablespoons of oil being the perfect amount.
We customize your cricket bat with laser engraving. You can choose to laser engrave your name, number or your personal logo on the back of the bat. The name is written in a prominent place on the back of the bat. (A personalized bat once sold cannot be returned unless it is deemed a mistake)
The process of oiling takes about 2 days. Your bat is oiled and laid horizontally so the oil soaks in properly. If properly oiled, your bat engine will be hit by 8000 to 10000 engine strokes. The folding process takes an additional 1 day. Your bat will be oiled and ready to ship in 3-4 business days.
Bat toes generally come in three traditional shapes, namely square toe, round toe, and semi-square toe. A specific toe shape can be requested when ordering in the comments section of checkout.
