Hyderabad: Upping the entertainment quotient, streaming service Amazon miniTV announced its upcoming sports drama series – ‘Sixer’. Produced by TVF and directed by Chaitanya Kumbhakon, ‘Sixer’ stars actor Shivankit Singh (of ‘Parihar of Bachelors’ and ‘Aspirants’) in the lead role. The series is scheduled to premiere exclusively on Amazon miniTV on November 11 for free.
The trailer for the upcoming sports drama gives a glimpse into the life of Nikunj Shukla, also known as ‘Nikku’, a young cricketer from Vijay Nagar, Indore. Played by Shivankit, this character is a die-hard cricket fan and wants to represent the sport in its true spirit.

Inside Edge is back for another season, giving viewers an insight into the mind games and scandals behind the game of cricket.
The Amazon Prime Video series Inside Edge is in its third season. It has been making noise since its debut in 2017 and also garnered an International Emmy nomination in the Best Drama category, a first for India. It shows what is hidden behind the most respected and sought after sport in the country, cricket, and touches on power games, corruption, in-game scandals, among others.
As the show kicks off its new season, returning cast members: Vivek Oberoi, power-hungry Vikrant Dhawan, Richa Chadha, who plays disappearing actress and businesswoman Zarina Malik, Aamir Bashir, who plays the almighty Bhaisaab and Tanuj Virwani, an Indian cricketer the star of the Vayu Raghavan team, joined the latest entry Akshay Oberoi as they discussed the show’s run and what to expect delving into the story.
