Spinner RR Chahal, who specializes in the 20-over format, needs one wicket to reach the 300 scalp mark. Chahal current wrist spinner has an average 23.85 299T20 scalp. He had five four-wicket catches and two five-wicket catches for best figures of 6/25.
Chahal could become the 16th pitcher to achieve this feat in the shortest format. He could also become the first Indian bowler to take 300 scalps. Meanwhile, Indian spinner R Ashwin has 287 scalps and veteran Piyush Chawla is the third highest wicket taker by an Indian bowler with 276 casualties.

Chahal is the 3rd highest wicket taker in the Indian Premier League. He has so far claimed 166 scalps at 21.83. Veteran Indian spinner Amit Mishra also has 166 scalps. Chahal is behind former IPL legends Dwayne Bravo (181) and Lasith Malinga (170). Chahal is a leading goal taker in the IPL and this helped him win the prestigious Purple Cap award. He managed 27 scalps at 19.51. It should be noted that Chahal has won more than 20 wickets four times in a single season.
Chahal currently has 20 scalps in IPL at 24.20 against Sunrisers Hyderabad. He was the second-highest wicket-taker against the Orange Army besides claiming the most scalps by a spinner. Also, Buttler is the 4th highest run scorer for RR in IPL. He crushed 2304 runs at 43.08. He was able to pass Shane Watson’s 2372 runs to become the 3rd highest run scorer for RR.
