Kolkata Knight Riders’ thrilling win over Punjab Kings made them the fifth team with 10 points in the IPL 2023 table.
Rinku Singh had another brilliant finish for Kolkata Knight Riders as they beat Punjab Kings by five wickets on Monday to keep their IPL playoff hopes alive. KKR skipper Nitish Rana’s half-century and Andre Russell’s impressive 180 chase helped Rinku finish the match with an unbeaten 10-ball-21.

Earlier, Varun Chakaravarthy also led their bowling department to take 3/26 as KKR managed to reduce PBKS to 179 for seven after the visitors opted to bat slowly. However, they could be relegated depending on the winner of Wednesday’s clash between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore, who have a game in hand and have 10 points each. Third-placed Lucknow Super Giants are just one point ahead of the running pack with 11 points and second-placed Chennai Super Kings on 13. Gujarat Titans are leading the table with 16 points.
