The BCCI on Friday, September 16, announced the new Group A squad for India A and New Zealand A. The 3-match India vs New Zealand List Series starts from September 23 with the final match starting from September 27.

The team is led by Sanju Samson, who has quite impressed the captain of Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2022. The senior players representing the team include Rutoraj Gaikwad, KS Bharat, Prithvi Shaw, Kuldeep Yadav, Navdeep Saini, Umran Malik, Shardul Thakur and Rahul Chahar.
Among them who still feature in the senior team are Rajat Patidar, Abhimanyu Eswaran, Kuldeep Sen, Rahul Tripathi, Shahbaz Ahmed, Raj Bawa and Thilek Varma. This is a great opportunity for young guns to impress on the election commission.
All parts of the board look brand new. No one has played an all-rounder in India before. Shahbaz Ahmed and Tilak Varma will compete in the Cup round. While hard hitting all rounder Raj Bawa is the only pace player in the team. Hardik Pandya could be a power backup in the future.
