In the latest in a series of horrific blunders, the cricket body has been accused of misprinting the scheduled start time of the match, which will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Uppal.

Soon after the recent ruckus at the Gymkhana Stadium, the start time of the game was wrongly printed on the ticket, which triggered yet another violent attack on the HCA by netizens. Although the tickets have been officially on sale for 10 days, the HCA has failed to spot an obvious error in the tickets. The start time of the game was printed as 19:30, and when it was supposed to start at 19:00, the game started at 18:30.
Interestingly, an email HCA sent to the media on Saturday night correctly mentioned the start time of 7pm. However, the cricket body, already embroiled in numerous controversies, chose not to acknowledge the typographical error on the tickets. Netizens on social media platforms quickly picked up on this and accused the HCA of being heartless. They felt that a wrong kick-off time would mislead stadium-going fans and cost them half an hour of precious cricket entertainment.
The HCA has also been criticized for allocating tickets for public sale. Not even half of the 39,000 tickets for the T20I match have allegedly been sold to the public.
Fans have been flocking to the Kinkana Stadium counters to buy tickets over the past few days after Paytm, the official ticketing partner, announced that it would no longer buy tickets online. Paytm is said to have sold only 3,000 tickets.
