In the 29th match of IPL 2023, Chennai Super Kings defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven runs at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on Friday. Rajasthan Royals are top of the table with eight points from six matches with four wins and two losses. Lucknow Supergiants are second with eight points from six matches while CSK are third with the same points. The top three teams have the same number of points, the only difference being the clean runs. On the other hand, last year’s champions Gujarat Titans are placed fourth with six points from five games, including three wins and two losses.

Mumbai Indians are in sixth place, followed by Punjab Kings in seventh place. Teams from fourth to seventh have the same number of points, net run rate is the difference. Kolkata Knight Riders are in eighth place with four points from six matches, followed by SRH in ninth place. Delhi Capitals sit at the bottom of the table with two points from six games.

RCB captain Faf du Plessis is second with 343 runs in six matches, followed by DC batsman David Warner (285). Virat Kohli is third with 279 runs, followed by Conway (258) and RR’s Jos Buttler (244).

In the day’s match at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) beat Punjab Kings (PBKS) by five wickets in the last ball thanks to Rinku Singh’s finishing skills.
