When MI were asked to bat first at the Wankhede Stadium, the GT bowlers were bowled out for 218/5 in the first innings. Ishan Kishan and Vishnu Vinod scored 31 and 30 respectively, while Surya Kumar Yadav scored his maiden IPL century, scoring an unbeaten 103 off just 49 balls.
