The orange cap is awarded to the highest scorer of the tournament and is currently held by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) captain Faf du Plessis, who has scored 511 points in 10 matches. In second place is young Rajasthan Royals opener Yashasvi Jaiswal with 477 runs and a batting average of 160.60.
KKR’s Varun Chakravarthy took 17 wickets in 11 games after a solid 3/26 performance against PBKS today, moving up to fifth place in the most wicket list this season. Meanwhile, Gujarat Titans (GT) leader Ohaed Shai is currently holding the purple cap after scoring 17 wickets this season.
Spinner Rashid Khan and CSK Pace player Tushar Deshpande also had 17 wickets each but had a higher save percentage than Shai.
