The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule for the 16th edition of the T20 League on Friday February 17. The tournament will start on March 31, 2023 with a match between defending champions Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings. In the meantime, the summit will be held on May 28.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the official IPL 2023 qualifying schedule on Friday, April 21. As expected, the playoffs will start one day after the end of the group stage on May 23 and the IPL 2023 final will be played on May 28.

Overall, the BCCI announced the group match schedule before the start of the tournament only because of the choice of venue. But now BCCI has decided that Ahmedabad and Chennai will host the qualifiers. Qualifier 1 and Qualifier will be played in Chennai and Qualifier 2 and Final will be played in Ahmedabad.
