“The biggest new feature is scenario mode, where we’ve added the ability for people to add scorecards for previously famous games,” Maran told Xbox Hub. “You, the player, can go in and change the date. You can start the game at any point in the game and then set a condition [like] England needing 500 runs to win the day. Then, based on famous scenarios in the history of the game, there are 13 different modes to choose from. “You can repeat the date for a whole game, or you can play a small part of the game that might only last 10 minutes – like [you have to] take a wicket in the last over.”
Here’s another difference from Big Ant’s offering: you can play Cricket 19 on the go, as it comes to Nintendo Switch with all the features of the more traditional versions. It will be the first Sim in the Ninety since Freddie Flintoff’s Power Play Cricket on the DS in 2010 – a game so outrageous you can score 20 runs in one innings.
